Lamadrid Malbec
88 points ('08) Wine Spectator:
“Very juicy, with nicely detailed currant, fig and boysenberry fruit flavors laced with mulled spice and fruitcake notes. Picks up a slightly raisined edge on the finish, but solid enough.”

“Brooding, black fruit with pencil led, pretty rich; medium to full bodied, layered with some yum factor; dry, nifty acidity, balanced; black fruit, very good; medium finish.”

Lamadrid Torrontés
Delightful with typical La Rioja Torrontés aromas of white flowers and citrus, with a well-balanced and ample mouthfeel. Comes from a high altitude vineyard planted in the 1920's in La Rioja.

Lamadrid Malbec Gran Reserva Reserva
90 points ('06), The Wine Advocate:
“An excellent nose of spice box, mineral, black cherry, and blueberry. Medium to full-bodied, it has excellent richness and depth, succulent fruit, and superior length for its price point.”

Lamadrid Malbec Matilde
92 points ('06), The Wine Advocate:
"The 2006 Malbec Icon was aged in 100% new French oak. It emits a brooding nose of plums, compote, violets, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. Opulent on the palate, it is rich and layered with mouth-coating, savory fruit, impeccable balance, and 3-5 years of aging potential. Drink this outstanding effort from 2013 to 2026."
